USA hit by 5.9 magnitude quake | Virginia
An earthquake measuring 5.9 on the Richter Scale (SR) rocked the United States. The quake hit areas of Virginia, the area east of the United States of America. Cited from the United States Geological Survey (U.S.), USGS, on Wednesday (08/24/2011) recorded the quake struck at 13:51 local time. The quake was at a depth of 1 km.



The quake was also felt along the east coast of America and several other areas.
FBI and Pentagon buildings were evacuated, for fear that aftershocks will occur is greater.
